Pau Besalú Sala

I obtained my Bachelor's in Chemistry in 2017 at the University of Girona. The following year I coursed the Master in Advanced Catalysis and Molecular Modelling at the same university. My research interests include several topics on computational and theoretical chemistry, such as the development of DFT hybrid and double-hybrid functionals for the evaluation of molecular/materials (non)linear optical properties, electric field-driven catalysis, and the rationalization of homo- and heterogeneous transition-metal catalyzed reaction on the basis of molecular orbital theory and energy decomposition analysis techniques.
