Pau Besalu

I’m a chemistry PhD student from the University of Girona (Spain). My research interests have been mainly focused on two research lines: i) The development of novel range-separated hybrid functionals for the accurate evaluation of properties with chemical interest, such as nonlinear optical properties, charge transfer processes or molecule-electric field interactions; ii) The computational study of organic and organometallic reaction mechanisms through both static and dynamic point of view. I’m a track & field athlete in my spare time.
