ESOR 2023: Event

The 19th European Symposium on Organic Reactivity (ESOR2023) will be held from 19 to 22 September in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

YOUNG RESEARCHERS SYMPOSIUM

On Monday 18 September, the day before the main conference begins, ESOR2023 will have a Young Researchers Symposium for PhD students to present their work. Please apply via the registration webform.

SCOPE

The primary objective of ESOR2023 is the exchange of the latest developments and ideas in the field of physical and theoretical organic chemistry.

The ESOR series is a string of biennial events that are hosted in different European cities. The conference series started in Paris in 1987 and it has been held every second year ever since: in Padova, Italy (1989), Göteborg, Sweden (1991), Newcastle, UK (1993), Santiago de Compostela, Spain (1995), Louvain la Neuve, Belgium (1997), Ulm, Germany (1999), Cavtat (Dubrovnik), Croatia (2001), Oslo, Norway (2003), Rome, Italy (2005), Faro, Portugal (2007), Haifa, Israel, (2009), Tartu, Estonia (2011), Prague, Czech Republic (2013), Kiel, Germany (2015), Durham, UK (2017), and Dubrovnik, Croatia (2019). REGISTRATION

 

The conference fee includes all lunches, the walking dinner, and the dinner cruise on the canals of Amsterdam, and amounts to 350 euros for PhD students and 550 euros for regular guests. These fees are valid until 31 May 2023. After this deadline, all fees are raised by +100 euros.

CONTRIBUTIONS

If you want to contribute an oral communication or a poster, please apply via the registration webform.

The deadline for abstract submission (Young Researchers Symposium, contributed talk, and posters) is 15 August 2023. We will inform you after 15 August 2023 whether you have been selected to give a contribution. Note that the conference fee has to be paid before your abstract will be considered. VENUE

 

The conference venue is in the O|2 building of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (De Boelelaan 1108, Amsterdam, NL), within walking distance from train, tram, and metro stations. The venue is also easily accessible from the airport or the city center.
